IF YOUR BLOOD SUGARS HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE PLACE RECENTLY, START HERE.

THE 7-DAY

GLUCOSE RESET

A simple 7-day programme to help you understand what's affecting your glucose, get the fundamentals back in place and build a routine that actually works with your diabetes.

For Type 1, Type 2 and prediabetes.

IF DIABETES HAS FELT HARDER TO MANAGE RECENTLY, THIS IS PROBABLY WHY....

Maybe your CGM has been all over the place...

You correct a high, then end up treating a low.

You try to eat well, but some meals still send your glucose through the roof.

You want to exercise more consistently, but you're never quite sure what your blood sugars are going to do around training.

Or maybe things haven't completely fallen apart. You've just got out of the routines that usually help you manage things better, and now you're not really sure what you should focus on first.

That's what the 7-Day Glucose Reset is designed to help with.

Over seven days, I'll help you look at the areas that usually cause the biggest problems...

...how you're structuring your meals, how you're managing carbohydrates, how exercise is affecting your glucose, and whether things like stress, sleep and your daily routine are making everything harder.

You're not going to completely transform your diabetes in seven days.

But you can start identifying what's causing the problems, make a few better decisions, and come away with a much clearer idea of what you actually need to work on.

MOST HEALTH AND FITNESS ADVICE DOESN'T ACCOUNT FOR WHAT IT'S ACTUALLY LIKE TO MANAGE DIABETES.

The fundamentals of getting healthier aren't particularly complicated.

You need to eat reasonably well, exercise, move your body, sleep properly and do those things consistently enough to get a result.

Having diabetes doesn't suddenly make those fundamentals irrelevant.

It does change how you sometimes have to apply them.

If you take insulin, a poorly timed dose or unexpected increase in activity can leave you treating a hypo with calories you hadn't planned on eating.

A perfectly normal workout can affect your glucose completely differently depending on the type of training, intensity, insulin on board and what you've eaten beforehand.

You can eat a meal that's technically "healthy" and still struggle with your glucose afterwards because the carbohydrate amount, meal composition or insulin setup wasn't right for you.

And if your blood sugars are constantly high, low or unpredictable, following a normal weight-loss or fitness plan becomes much harder.

So rather than giving you another generic diet and telling you to try harder, the Reset helps you look at how the fundamentals actually apply when diabetes is part of the equation.

Introducing...

THE 7-DAY GLUCOSE RESET:

I've put the programme together around seven areas I regularly look at when somebody with diabetes is struggling with their glucose, nutrition, exercise or daily routine.

Each day focuses on one area.

You go through the lesson, look at how it relates to your own diabetes and then make the relevant changes to your routine.

You don't need to completely overhaul your life overnight.

You've got seven days to start paying attention to what you're doing, what your glucose is doing in response and where some fairly obvious improvements can be made.

Here's what we'll cover:

DAY 1: BLOOD SUGAR STABILISATION

We start with your glucose.

You'll look at what your blood sugars have actually been doing rather than relying on how you think they've been.

We'll go through some of the common reasons people end up dealing with repeated highs, lows and unpredictable readings, and you'll start identifying the patterns that are most relevant to you.

This gives you somewhere sensible to start rather than changing ten different things at once and having no idea which one actually helped.

DAY 2: CARBS & MEAL STRUCTURE

Carbohydrates aren't automatically good or bad.

What usually makes the difference is how much you're eating, what you're eating them with, how your own body responds and, if you use insulin, how that food fits with your individual insulin requirements.

We'll look at how to build more balanced meals, how portion sizes can affect your glucose and how protein, fibre, fats and carbohydrates can work together.

You don't need to remove every food you enjoy or spend the rest of your life eating chicken and broccoli out of Tupperware.

You need to understand what you're eating and what happens afterwards.

DAY 3: SNACKING, HUNGER & CRAVINGS

Snacking can become a bit of a mess when diabetes is involved.

Sometimes you're genuinely hungry.

Sometimes you've gone too long without eating.

Sometimes your meals aren't filling you properly.

And sometimes you're standing in the kitchen eating Jelly Babies because your CGM has decided you're heading towards 3.2.

Those things aren't all the same problem.

We'll look at why you're reaching for food between meals and how to bring more structure into your day so that you're not constantly grazing, treating, correcting and starting again.

DAY 4: MOVEMENT & EXERCISE

Exercise is one of the best things you can do for your long-term health.

It can also be bloody confusing when you have diabetes.

One type of training might bring your glucose down. Another might temporarily push it up.

Sometimes the same session behaves differently depending on when you train, what you've eaten and how much insulin you have active.

We'll look at walking, resistance training and different forms of activity, how they can affect glucose and how you can start using exercise more consistently without feeling like every workout is an experiment.

DAY 5: STRESS, SLEEP & YOUR GLUCOSE

You can have your food and training pretty well organised and still have periods where your glucose becomes more difficult to manage.

Poor sleep, work pressure, illness, stress and changes to your normal routine can all play a part.

They can also affect your hunger, food choices, recovery and motivation to train.

We'll look at some practical ways to improve the parts of your routine that you can influence without pretending you're going to remove every stressful thing from your life.

DAY 6: HYDRATION & THE BASICS PEOPLE OFTEN IGNORE

People sometimes become so focused on finding the perfect diet or training programme that the boring basics get forgotten.

Hydration. Regular meals. Daily movement. Sleep. Recovery.

Basic food quality.

None of those things are particularly exciting, but neglect enough of them and managing your health becomes unnecessarily difficult.

Day 6 is about making sure those basic habits aren't being overlooked while you're searching for something more complicated.

DAY 7: YOUR PLAN GOING FORWARD

I don't want you to have seven decent days and then go straight back to whatever you were doing before.

On Day 7, you'll review what you've learned across the week.

What improved?

What caused problems?

What did you notice about your glucose?

Which changes were actually realistic?

And which areas still need more work?

From there, you can decide what you're going to continue doing and what needs your attention next.

These are results from people who have worked with AuraFit through our wider coaching services. They're not being shown to suggest you're going to achieve the same transformation from a £7 programme in seven days.

They're here because the principles you'll start learning inside the Glucose Reset are the same principles we build on when somebody works with us more closely.

Hi! I’m John.

I'm the founder of AuraFit, and I've lived with Type 1 diabetes myself for years.

Before diabetes, I was serving as a Royal Marines Commando. Being fit, capable and physically strong was a massive part of who I was.

Then I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and medically discharged.

My career disappeared almost overnight, my health went backwards and I gained a significant amount of weight.

I also became scared of doing things I'd previously never thought twice about.

There was a period where I was genuinely frightened to go to sleep because I was worried about having a hypo and not waking up, never mind getting myself back into a gym.

Eventually I became pretty fed up with living like that. I wanted to understand what was happening to my body, get myself fit again and work out how I could train properly while managing Type 1 diabetes.

That took me into personal training, nutrition and eventually specialising in coaching people with diabetes.

Over the years I've coached people with Type 1, Type 2 and prediabetes who wanted to lose body fat, build muscle, get fitter and manage their diabetes better at the same time.

And one of the biggest things I've learned is that most people don't need more information thrown at them.

They've usually got plenty of information.

They need to understand what actually applies to them and then consistently do something with it.

That's why I created the 7-Day Glucose Reset.

If things have become messy recently, this gives you somewhere to start sorting them out.

THE 7-DAY GLUCOSE RESET IS FOR YOU IF...

You have Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes or prediabetes.

Your blood sugars have been more unpredictable than you'd like.

Your eating has become less structured and you want to get back into better habits.

You're trying to lose weight or improve your health but diabetes keeps making the process more difficult.

You want to exercise more consistently but you're unsure how to manage your glucose around it.

You've read plenty of diabetes advice already but you're struggling to turn that information into something you can actually follow.

You're prepared to spend seven days looking properly at what you're doing and making some changes.

Because buying the programme won't improve your diabetes....Doing something with what you learn will.

WHAT CAN YOU REALISTICALLY GET FROM SEVEN DAYS?

I'm not going to tell you that you're going to fix your diabetes in a week.

You're not.

I'm not going to promise you a particular HbA1c, amount of weight loss or percentage increase in time in range either....Diabetes doesn't work like that.

What you can do in seven days is start paying much closer attention to the things affecting your glucose.

✅You can improve how you're structuring your meals.

✅You can look at your snacking.

✅You can understand more about what exercise is doing to your blood sugars.

✅You can tighten up some of the habits you've allowed to slip.

✅And you can reach the end of the week knowing far more about what you need to keep doing than you did when you started.

For £7, that's exactly what I want this programme to give you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: “WHO IS THE 7-DAY GLUCOSE RESET FOR?”

A: The programme is designed for adults living with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes or prediabetes who want practical help with their nutrition, exercise, daily habits and glucose management.

Q: “WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT IN SEVEN DAYS?”

A: That will be different for everybody.

I'm not going to promise you a specific weight-loss result, HbA1c reduction or improvement in time in range within seven days.

What I want you to get from the week is a better understanding of what's affecting your glucose, improvements to the way you're eating and moving, and a much clearer idea of what you should continue working on afterwards.

You may notice improvements in your glucose patterns during the week, but individual responses will vary.

Q: “DO I NEED TO CUT OUT CARBOHYDRATES?”

A: No. Carbohydrates aren't automatically something you need to remove because you have diabetes.

Inside the Reset, we'll look at carbohydrate amounts, portions, meal structure and how different foods affect your own glucose.

If you use insulin, you'll still need to follow your own prescribed insulin-to-carbohydrate ratios and the guidance given to you by your diabetes healthcare team.

Q: “DO I NEED A GYM?”

A: No. We'll discuss different types of exercise, including resistance training, but you'll also learn ways to use walking and everyday movement.

You can apply plenty of what you learn without having a gym membership.

Q: “CAN I DO THIS IF I TAKE INSULIN OR DIABETES MEDICATION?”

A: Yes, but your medication requirements are individual to you.

Changes in food intake, exercise and activity can affect blood glucose and insulin or medication requirements.

The programme does not tell you to change prescribed medication.

If you notice that your requirements appear to be changing, speak to your diabetes healthcare team before making medication changes you haven't already been trained to make yourself..

Q: “IS THIS MEDICAL TREATMENT?”

A: No. The 7-Day Glucose Reset is an educational health and fitness programme.

It does not replace personalised medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from your doctor, diabetes specialist nurse or healthcare team.

Q: “IS THIS A SUBSCRIPTION?”

A: No. The £7 payment gives you access to the 7-Day Glucose Reset.

There is no recurring subscription attached to the Reset.

Q: “HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM A NORMAL DIET OR FITNESS PROGRAMME?”

A: Most general health and fitness programmes aren't designed around somebody also having to manage blood glucose, insulin, diabetes medication, hypos or changing responses to exercise.

The Reset looks at nutrition and exercise through that lens.

You're still learning the basic principles of eating well, moving more and building better habits.

You're just learning how to apply them when diabetes is part of your everyday life.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SEVEN DAYS?

You continue using what you've learned.

By Day 7, you'll have reviewed the areas you've worked on and decided what you need to keep doing.

If you decide afterwards that you want more individual help with your diabetes, body composition, nutrition or training, you'll also have the opportunity to learn more about working with AuraFit.

You don't have to.

The Reset works as a standalone starting point.

IF YOU KNOW THINGS HAVE BECOME A BIT MESSY, GET STARTED.

You don't need to wait for Monday.

You don't need another month of thinking about sorting your blood sugars out.

And you definitely don't need to completely overhaul your entire life tomorrow morning.

Give yourself seven days.

Pay closer attention to what's happening.

Sort out some of the obvious problems.

Learn more about the way your own diabetes responds to food, exercise and your daily routine.

Then build from there.
